COMMIT ("we", "us", "the app") helps you build commitment through daily streaks. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. Questions: support@canyoucommit.app.
To provide and sync your streaks, enable friends and shared streaks, send notifications you enable, process purchases, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Performance of our contract, your consent (notifications), and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Google Firebase (auth, database, hosting), Apple (sign-in, purchases, notifications), Stripe (web payments). Data is stored on Google Cloud.
PostHog (processed by PostHog, Inc., United States) is used on the canyoucommit.app website and inside the COMMIT app to measure product usage — page traffic, referral sources, UTM campaigns, CTA clicks, and in-app steps such as onboarding progress — so we can improve the product. Analytics events are linked only to a random account identifier; we do not send your email, display name, or the content of your habits or check-ins to PostHog, and session replay is not enabled.
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, streaks, check-ins, and friendships.
You can access, export, and delete your data anytime in Settings → Privacy & Data. Under EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, and Canada PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25 you may have further rights. Contact us to exercise them.
Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud, with access restricted by authentication and security rules.
COMMIT is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, up to 16 in parts of the EU).
Your data may be processed in other countries (e.g. United States) by our providers, under appropriate safeguards.
We may update this policy and will revise the date above; material changes are notified in-app.
